Quote Web Service
The Quote Web Service processes JSON quote requests from Partners and returns a quote response.
Technology overview
AWP is a digital merchandising optimizer. It exposes loosely coupled web services that use standard JSON messaging over HTTP or HTTPS. This lets AWP integrate with Partner platforms and run ongoing multivariate testing and optimization of offers.
Environments
AWP provides a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment and a Production environment. Both behave the same. Only the access URL differs.
Your Partner user ID and password are different in UAT and Production. Allianz issues credentials for each environment, so never reuse UAT credentials in Production.
Quote process
Send a Quote Request
The Partner sends a JSON Quote Request message to AWP. It includes the booking (currency, booking path, language, number of travelers, total trip cost) and the itinerary (departure and return dates, origin airport, destination airport).
Send the customer’s state, postal code, IP address, and origin airport with every quote. US products are regulated by state, so AWP needs them to return compliant offers. See Residency of the insured.
